The Quick Lunge is available in two different cord styles: elastic and cord.

Elastic: This style is great for young horses learning to balance. The elastic encourages them to move forward into a correct frame and contact while preventing them from feeling blocked or trapped. The elastic has a bit of give!
The elastic style is also recommend for horses who hang on the riders hands. It encourages them to hold their own head and push from behind instead of relying on the rider to hold them together.

Cord:  This style is recommended for horses who need a bit more support such as a horse that swings on the reins, is less stable in the contact, or sits off the contact. The cord gives them something steady and secure to work into, enabling them to find stability and work towards a more balanced way of going.

We are happy to chat about the two styles, so feel free to contact Saddleworld Dural with any questions.
